Are we GODs or GOD’s? Who am I?

Are we GODs or GOD’s? Who am I?

In the previous lecture, we established that human life is the most opportune living species in the entire living kingdom, and at the same time, it is also inflicted with mortality.

So now, we need to understand the nature of ‘I’ or ‘me’ for defining what is mine & what is my purpose. And once we find our purpose, it is said that “...if motivation, simply put is a FLOW, then purpose is like SWITCH which triggers.”

Having a purpose is what separates the motivated from the demotivated. Purpose derives from two things, having meaning, and forward movement.

Few scriptures say, “aham brahmasmi…”; “ayam atma brahma” indicating We are GODs. Then how come Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu [the great Lord] says “...jivera swarupa haya krishnera nitya dasa.”  meaning the essence of human life is to be an eternal servant of the Shri Krishna, the supreme Lord, i.e., We are GOD’s.

Which is correct, and which is not? Or are they both correct and there is some underlying context or clause, let’s listen to these lectures to get a clarity on our purpose for a meaningful life.
